It wasn't "controversial" at all. 116 - 112 is about the right score for Adamek.

  • 10:40 PM Brian Thomas on Lester Hudson goes home, claimed by Memphis in Projo Sports Blog:

Hi my name is Brian Thomas and I represent a wide variety of companies looking to advertise on various websites. Recently we had a company contact us and ask us to find websites that are associated with your topics. After careful research and review, we believe your website, would be a good fit for our advertiser and other advertisers. There is absolutely no cost to you to be in our program. Our program is very straight forward and there is no cost to you. We will input a small advertising section onto your website consisting of about 5-20 text link advertisements. We will then offer these advertisements to our various clients (Advertisers). We offer a 50/50 revenue split earned by the text link advertisement on a monthly basis. Depending on the demand, the industry, and the keywords being advertised, our algorithm determines an accurate monthly price for the advertisement on your website. Who couldn't use an extra $500, $5,000, $10,000/month or more in passive advertising income? Plus you get to approve which websites can advertise on your website. It is truly a win/win situation for you. In order to get involved in the program and begin earning passive income, simply go to www.linxad.com and create a user account. Next add your website(s). I am always available to speak with you further about this opportunity. You can call me anytime at the number below or please provide a number in response to this email to call you. I thank you for your time. Sincerely, Brian Thomas (888) 292-8858 ext. 7 www.linxad.com

  • 6:04 PM Carmen on Report: Tiger Woods could return in two weeks in Projo Sports Blog:

I always suspected that Tiger Woods was not returning to golf or to the public eye until there was something to say about his marriage. Up to recently, Tiger was not sure of what Elin was going to do. Now that it is being reported that Elin has agreed to stay, the buzz is that Tiger will be back soon. Tiger may not be able to live a secretive life again. His wife, the public and sponsors will not accept it.

"john dailey said: How can you live with yourself?" Honestly. This blog was written much too hastily by a complete clown. I still remember your awful article written about the Red Sox the day after they got white-washed by the Yankees for a 3-0 deficit in the 2004 ALCS. You looked foolish then....this blog reminded me of that article.

  • 3:54 PM Gavin Johnston on Budweiser says nay to Super Bowl ad featuring Clydesdales in Projo Sports Blog:

This is precisely why focus groups yield information that speaks to the lowest common denominator. Test an ad with a thousand people in a sterile environment and you get sterile responses. Surprise, surprise traditional methods produced information that is misguided. The Super Bowl isn’t about the game, it is about the party and social interaction. So while the Clydesdales do not speak to being hip, young, and funny, they do speak to the underlying, and unarticulated cultural expression of stability and tradition. It’s the “ah” moment. Without that “ah” moment Bud is just a series of juvinile spots that speak to a limited consumer base – there is nothing to tie the brand to the underlying motivations of the Super Bowl fan. The Super Bowl has become more than a championship game, it has become a worldwide phenomenon replete with rituals, symbolic meaning, and cultural expectations, just like Thanksgiving and Halloween. Relying on focus-group data misses the point that it isn’t about the beer, it’s about how the beer fits into the consumer’s lives, especially on this particular day. The Clydesdales, even if appearing in a single ad, speak to the populist symbolism of the day and the need people have for nostalgia during times of economic uncertainty. Dropping the horses is an enormous missed opportunity.

  • 2:05 AM nfl jerseys wholesale on Celtics second in sales of NBA team jerseys in Projo Sports Blog:

nfl jerseys wholesale EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP)—Brett Favre(notes) isn’t the only star player who could retire from the Minnesota Vikings. Defensive tackle Pat Williams(notes) said Monday he’s “50-50” on whether he’ll return for the final year of his contract. At 37, Williams is the second-oldest player on the team behind the 40-year-old Favre. The three-time Pro Bowl pick said he feels fine physically, but is mentally “drained” after a devastating end to his 13th NFL season. The Vikings lost to the New Orleans Saints in overtime of the NFC championship game Sunday. Williams said he talked about the situation with Favre, who has famously struggled with whether to retire for the last few years. Williams was the anchor of a defense that gave up the fewest yards rushing in the league for three straight seasons starting in 2006.
