Report: Shaq to Boston for veteran's minimum

ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard reports this morning that Shaquille O'Neal has decided to play for the Boston Celtics and is expected to tell the team Wednesday morning.

O'Neal will play for the veteran's minimum of $1.4 million. The length of the deal is unknown but O'Neal has been seeking a two-year contract.

Broussard notes that Danny Ainge is currently out of town on vacation so an official news conference would take place next week.
