-- Paul Pierce got hot in the second half of Friday's rout of Charlotte and he has not cooled off since.

The captain of the Celtics has already poured in 20 points, connecting on eight of 10 shots to get the Celtics out to a 47-38 halftime lead.

The Hornets have not found a way to stop him.
