Controversial former Major League Baseball outfielder and designated hitter Jose Canseco is on the card for an upcoming Celebrity Boxing match in Springfield, Mass.

After retiring from baseball in 2001 Canseco boxed twice and fought mixed martial arts once. He is best known for outing fellow players, including himself, for use of steroids.

Canseco will fight Pittsfield, Mass. native Todd Poulton on Nov. 6 at the Sheraton 1 Monarch Place in Springfield -- the debut of Celebrity Boxing in New England.

The event will also features several locals and Michael Lohan, the infamous dad of actress Lindsay Lohan, and Rodney King.
