bosh_1015.jpgToronto Raptors star Chris Bosh may have played on a team that lost a preseason game to the Celtics on Wednesday night, but he recently had a pretty big court victory that could help out a lot of his fellow athletes as well.

Bosh went to court and won a ruling from a federal judge in California that will force a cybersquatter named Luis Zavala to give up the rights to chrisbosh.com, and also compels Zavala to release to Bosh 800 other illegally registered domain names.

According to The New York Times, Internet domain names containing the identities of NBA stars such as Jason Kidd, Deron Williams, Amar'e Stoudemire, Steve Nash and Michael Redd are now the rightful property of Bosh.

Brian Heidelberger, one of Bosh's lawyers, said that "We are notifying the world that anyone whose name is on this list that has a legitimate right to the domain name, Chris will transfer it to them for free."

The list is available for download at www.winston.com/siteFiles/Domain_Name_List.pdf.

It includes at least one rather humorous domain name that is now the property of Bosh, one that he may not give up so easily: LuisZavala.com.
