-- Boston coach Doc Rivers announced today that second-year forward Bill Walker will miss six to eight weeks with a torn meniscus in his right knee. Walker left Wednesday's practice early and went to Boston to get an MRI on his surgically repaired knee. Rivers told reporters that Walker will have surgery tomorrow morning at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.
