Tiger Woods made the early part of the final round of the Deutsche Bank Championship entertaining for the fans at the TPC of Boston Monday as he equalled his best round ever at the course.

Woods had 10 birdies on the way to an 8-under 63. That gave him a total of 12-under 272 for the event. He currently stands in a tie for eighth. Woods also shot 63 in the final round in 2006, the year he won the event.

Three-time major winner Padraig Harrington has birdied four of his first eight holes to take the lead at 16-under. Jason Dufner is 15-under through 10 and Steve Stricker 15-under through seven.

Barrington's Brett Quigley struggled to a 74 and has fallen from a tie for 43rd to a tie for 61st.

He is on the bubble to advance to the third round of the playoffs next week in Chicago. He has been moving between 69h and 71st place in the FedEx standings for the last hour, with his status now dependent on how other players do.
