In case you missed it, former University of Rhode Island basketball star and NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers Lamar Odom, who recently signed a reported four-year, $33 million contract extension with the Lakers this summer, is now dating Khloe Kardashian, a star on E!'s "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami" show, according to hollyscoop.com.

The new couple met when they first met Aug. 27th at the Ron Artest party at Hollywood club Halo, according to the report.

"They're very, very happy," sister Kim told People.com. "They've been together a few weeks, and are literally inseparable. Khloe thinks he's amazing and makes her laugh and smile constantly."
