Free agent guard Dan Dickau decided to pass on an invitation to the Celtics training camp, choosing to attend Phoenix's instead, according to the Boston Globe.

Dickau, 31, played five games for the Brose Baskets in Germany last season, averaging 17.6 points per game.

In six seasons in the NBA, Dickau has averaged 5.8 points per game for Atlanta, Portland, New Orleans, Dallas, Boston and the Los Angeles Clippers.

Dickau last played for the Celtics during the 2005-06 season, but tore his Achilles' tendon and was eventually traded to Portland.
