Charlie Blanchard is the only player ever to win the R.I. Golf Association's Mid-Amateur Championship more than once. The lefty from Wannamoisett now has done it six times. Paul Quigley, who earlier this month won his fifth RIGA Senior title, won the Senior Division at 146 and tied for third overall with John Auclair. In Walpole, Mass., Scott Spence of Carnegie Abbey added a second-round 69 to his opening 65 to take control in the New England Open.
