The Dorchester Eagles Pop Warner football organization is fighting the three-year suspension the organization was slapped with after a brawl with the Edgewood, R.I., team at the Pop Warner Super Bowl in Orlando, Fla., in 2008.

National Pop Warner officials banned the entire Dorchester organization from competing in the postseason on national and regional levels.

The Edgewood coaching staff received a one-year suspension.

The teams involved in the brawl, which broke in a dining area of the resort where the teams were staying, were comprised of players from 13 to 15 years old.
