Lincoln hit four home runs, including two from Alec Cronan, en route to a 14-3 victory over Maine in the New England Regional Little League Baseball World Series on Friday at Bristol, Conn. Cronan hit a two-run homer in the second inning and a grand slam in the third as Lincoln led 8-0 after 2 1/2 innings. Teammates Brian Jannetti and Jake Petrin each had solo homers. Another big hit for Lincoln came off the bat of Brandon Yee, who smacked a three-run triple in the fourth inning. Starting pitcher Jeff Sheehan went four innings for Lincoln. The game was called after five innings because of the mercy rule.
