In the latest addition of NBA.com's power rankings, the Celtics are ranked as the fifth-best team for the upcoming season. NBA.com writer John Schuhmann states that NBA rosters are not finalized, but they are close to it, and even though the season does not begin for another 70 days, he firmly believes his rankings are true. The Lakers are ranked first, followed by Cleveland, Orlando, San Antonio, and then Boston. "The addition of Rasheed Wallace makes the Celtics' frontline more intimidating than it already was," wrote Schuhmann. "But more important to their quest for another title are the health of Kevin Garnett and the psyche of Rajon Rondo. You have to wonder about both."

Who ever this guy is that does the power rankings does not have aclue about B-Ball. If the celtics can win 62 games without K.G playing most of them...how do you figure that puts us at 5th with kevin back and his competitive/defensive nature , Glen baby more experienced and Rondo ready to take on more with his speed, not to mention the moral of the whole team with their key player back...Paul Pierce and Ray Alan as always Great.Back to being the BEAST of the East!!
