Brown wide receiver Bobby Sewall of Portsmouth has received honorable mention in preseason All-America voting by Consensus Draft Services. Teammate David Howard, a defensive tackle, also received honorable mention.
Sewall, a senior, was first- team All-Ivy and All-New England in 2008. He led the Ivy League in receptions (69), receiving yards (948) and scoring (8.4 points per game). He scored 14 touchdowns, 8 receiving and 6 rushing.
Howard was also first-team All-Ivy and All-New England in 2008 and is a pre-seasn All-America selection by the Sports Network. Brown's rushing defense allowed 77.1 yards per game, first in the Ivy League and rank in the nation.
