The Boston Celtics have called a news conference at 4 p.m. today to introduce free-agent signee Rasheed Wallace to the local media. Wallace's first public remarks as a member of the Celtics will be televised live on Comcast Sports Net and streamed on the station's web site. We'll have a recap of the news conference shortly after it takes place, and a full story later in the evening.

The Boston Globe reported last night that the Celtics' deal with Wallace, originally reported as a two-year contract, is in fact a three-year agreement, with the third year being a player option.
