According to the New England Basketball Recruiting Report, high school guard Matt Brown of Barrington and Northfield Mt. Hermon School will enroll at Harvard in the fall of 2010. Brown is a strong and athletic combination guard who was being recruited at a higher level than the Ivy League but apparently could not turn down the chance to join Tommy Amaker's program at Harvard. "It's the number one university in the world," Brown told the NERR. "You can't "I really believe in what Coach Amaker is doing with the program," Brown told the New England Recruiting Report. "We have a chance to make history by winning the Ivy League and getting to the NCAA Tournament." -- KEVIN McNAMARA |
