Jimmy Baron had eight points, including a pair of 3-point goals, as he helped Utah beat a team of Nets and 76ers prospects, 83-68, Tuesday in the Orlando Pro Summer League.

The URI grad played 11:58 and made three of four shots overall. Eric Maynor, Utah's first-round draft choice and former Xavier star Josh Duncan led Utah with 12 points apiece. While Baron was 2-for-3 on 3-pointers, his team was 6-for-20 overall.

The game had a big A-10 Big East flavor as Gary Forbes of UMass and Dionte Christmas of Temple are members of the New Jersey/Philadelphia team, as are UConn's Jeff Adrien, Louisville's Terrence Willams and Notre Dame's Rob Kurz. Derrick Brown of Xavier and Kevin Lyde of Temple, as well as Wes Mathews of Marquette and Dar Tucker of DePaul are on the Utah team with Baron.
