Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge has confirmed the widespread rumors that the team is interested in adding 36-year-old forward Grant Hill to bolster the Boston bench next season.
Ainge said, simply, "We have interest in him," according to Frank Dell'Apa of The Boston Globe.
The Globe reported that Hill met yesterday with officials of the New York Knicks, who appear to have more money to offer Hill than the cap-pressed Celtics. Boston, of course, would offer a much better chance for Hill to win his first NBA championship.
