The MLB Draft, which is now a three-day extravaganza of sorts, begins tonight with the first 111 picks -- that's three full rounds plus two rounds of compensatory picks. Boston has the 28th overall pick in the first round, the 77th pick in the second round and the 107th pick in the third round.

The entire first round will be televised live beginning at 6 on the MLB Network -- that will give you something to watch in case tonight's Sox-Yankees game is a washout -- and for the rest of the night the picks will move to MLB.com. We'll have Sox-centric updates here on projo.com, as well.

Rounds 4 through 30 will take place tomorrow, and rounds 31 through 50 are on Thursday.

Let the train continue to roll. Bring on the athletic, projectable high schoolers. The Sox have a great farm system. Makes going to minor league games really fun!
