Roger Grillo's 12-year run as men's hockey coach at Brown apparently is over.

The Website USHR.com reports that Grillo told his captains on Sunday that he will not be returning as Bears' coach in the fall. Instead, Grillo will join the staff of the USA Hockey High Performance program, the report said.

Chris Humm, the school's sports information director, declined comment on the report.

``There is nothing I can confirm or deny at this time,'' Humm said Monday.

Brown has struggled in the last two seasons going 6-21-4 and 5-23-5. Overall, Grillo's teams compiled a record of 125-228-57. His teams had three winning seasons, from 2002-05.

Attempts to reach Grillo Monday were unsuccessful.
