DETROIT (AP) -- The Colorado Rockies have placed catcher Chris Iannetta on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring. The move was announced moments before the first pitch of Sunday's game against the Tigers. Iannetta, a native of Providence and a graduate of St. Raphael Academy in Pawtucket, strained the hamstring while running the bases in Saturday's 4-3 win over Detroit. Yorvit Torrealba replace Iannetta on Saturday and started on Sunday. The Rockies purchased the contract of catcher Paul Phillips from Triple-A Colorado Springs.
