The Pawtucket Red Sox were shut out, 2-0, by the Gwinnett Braves on Friday night at McCoy Stadium. Michael Bowden pitched six innings of one-hit, shutout ball before allowing two runners to reach base in the seventh -- one on a walk and the other on an attempted sacrifice bunt in which all runners were safe. Both runners scored after relief pitcher Marcus McBeth entered the game. |
