The NBA playoffs could be helping Lamar Odom change his image. The former URI star is playing through pain, providing a different view for those who have said the multitalented forward is not tough enough, not dedicated enough, to fulfill his potential. He slept in a chair for two days. He took a shot in his backside so he could play. He wore a heat pad and brace on his back during the game. Still, he was in pain. "I couldn't really picture myself not playing in a Game 5," Odom told the Times. Odom expects to play in game six Thursday night.
