-- The Celtics are 12 minutes away from advancing to the Eastern Conference semifinals.

After producing their best second quarter of the series, outscoring the Bulls 29-11, the Celtics got off to a sluggish start in the third quarter, but they will still take a 78-71 lead heading into the fourth.

If history in this series tells us anything, it's that this game is far from over.

Chicago cut Boston's 13-point halftime lead to 78-71 on a Ben Gordon 3-pointer with 21 seconds remaining in the quarter. That capped off a 7-2 Bulls run.

Gordon leads all scorers with 23 points. Derrick Rose has 18 points.

Ray Allen (16 points, 5 rebounds), Paul Pierce (15 points, 6 rebounds), Glen Davis (14 points), Kendrick Perkins (8 points, 10 rebounds), and Rajon Rondo (7 points, 11 assists, 4 rebounds) are all playing well for Boston.
