The Lehigh Valley IronPigs used a four-run eighth inning to break open a close game and get a 6-2 win at McCoy Stadium today. Ahead, 2-1, entering the eighth, Lehigh Valley rallied against Pawtucket reliever Chris George for four runs on five hits -- four singles and a double. Starter Enrique Gonzales took the loss despite throwing six strong innings, in which he surrendered two runs on five hits. Shortstop Ivan Ochoa hit his first home run of the season for the PawSox; first baseman Andy Tracy homered for the IronPigs. |
