WORCESTER -- The Providence Bruins fell to the Worcester Sharks 3-0 Saturday evening at the DCU Center. The P-Bruins begin the Calder Cup Playoffs at the Dunkin' Donuts Center Wednesday, April 15 versus the Portland Pirates at 7:05 p.m. After a scoreless opening period, Worcester took a 1-0 lead at the 13:56 mark of the second period. Frazer McLaren tallied his seventh goal of the season, while T.J. Fox and Matt Jones recorded the assists. The Sharks took a 2-0 lead into the intermission after Derek Joslin netted his 10th goal on a power play at 19:57 mark. Worcester finished the scoring at the 13:46 mark of the third period, while on the power play. Joslin scored his second goal of the game, with Ryan Vesce and Jason Demers getting the assists. Adam Courchaine stopped 29 of 32 shots for the P-Bruins, while Thomas Greiss made 23 saves for the Sharks. The P-Bruins were 0-for-6 on the power play and 3-for-5 on the penalty kill.
