Dave Roberts hasn't officially announced his retirement, but he has joined the San Francisco Giants broadcast crew. He's also doing radio work in San Diego. The Giants cut him loose in spring training, paying him $6.5 million not to play. Roberts hit .266 in 3,090 plate appearances for the Indians, Dodgers, Red Sox, Padres, and Giants. His steal of second base against the Yankees in Game Four of the 2004 ALCS is legend.
