URI's Jimmy Baron is one of eight players who will take part tonight in the 3-point shooting contest held as part of Final Four festivities in Detroit.
Baron already has drawn some attention, reports Mike Laprey, URI's assistant athletic director for sports information.

Baron, who finished with 361 career 3-pointers, an Atlantic 10 record, will compete at 7:30. The contest will be shown on tape delay on ESPN about 9 p.m., after the conclusion of the NIT championship
