It was "white-out" day at Freedom Hall yesterday as the Louisville Cardinals hosted Marquette, and head coach Rick Pitino for the second year in a row marked the occasion with the amazing white suit seen at right.
Pitino's suit drew a roar of approval fro the hometown fans. The coach vowed he would never wear it again after halftime of last year's home game against Georgetown, when he changed out of the suit with his team trailing, claiming that he had spilled soda on it (the Cardinals came back in the second half to win). But no one could argue with the results yesterday; Louisville won, 62-58, to stay in the hunt for the Big East regular-season title.
