Busy day for an off-day in college basketball in Rhode Island.

**First, congratulations to Rhode Island College for its NCAA Division 3 invite announced today. The Anchormen will host MIT in a first round game this week.

**Good job by the Big East in honoring a PC player for the first time this season with Weyinmi Efejuku earning Player of the Week honors. The senior guard is playing as well as he has in his career and is a candidate for 1st team all-league (top 10 players) honors.

**Finally, both PC and URI have shown up in this week's national polls. The Friars and Rams both received votes in the AP media poll. PC also received four votes in the coach's poll. Here is the full AP poll.
