The Bruins, who are 6-9-3 since Feb. 7, haven't looked that good lately, and general manager Peter Chiarelli says the solution has to start with the players themselves. Speaking during yesterday's practice to The Boston Herald's Stephen Harris, Chiarelli said "I think there has been an area of complacency and an area of comfort that's set in here, and we've got to battle through it." He said he was concerned about an overall lack of focus, and cited several specific examples from recent Bruins games, including Sunday's loss against Pittsburgh. The Bruins remain the number one team in the Eastern Conference, but New Jersey and Washington are each within easy striking distance. Both of those teams picked up wins last night while Boston had the day off. The Bruins are preparing to return to game action tomorrow night at home against the Los Angeles Kings. |
