The limping Celtics still have a couple of games to get through before they potentially get reinforcements, just in time for a road game against one of the toughest teams in the NBA.

The Boston Globe reports today that coach Doc Rivers and the Celtics are still hoping to have Kevin Garnett and Glen Davis back in the lineup for Friday night's game at San Antonio.

Tonight, the Celtics play in Rivers' hometown against a Chicago Bulls team that is a single percentage point behind the Milwaukee Bucks for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Yes, that would be the same Milwaukee team that beat the Celtics on Sunday. Then, tomorrow night, the Celtics host Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat in a rematch of a game won at home by Miami last week.
