--- There were 11 lead changes in the fourth quarter alone. A Paul Pierce 3-pointer put Boston on top, 96-95, with 2:27 remaining in the game, but Jermaine O'Neal answered with a 6-foot jumper.

Pierce came back with a 15-foot jumper, but Mario Chalmers answered with a layup.

Pierce then connected on a 17-foot jumper with 1:23 left to put Boston ahead 100-99, but Kendrick Perkins fouled Chalmers with 20.7 seconds left on a drive to the basket, putting him on the foul line.

Chalmers missed the first free throw but hit the second one to tie the game at 100-100. The Celtics called a timeout to draw up the potential game-winning shot.

With everyone in the building standing on their feet, all knowing that Pierce was going to shoot, Miami double-teamed him and then threw another defender at him on his drive to the basket.

His pull-up jumper fell short.

Eddie House has just given the Celtics a 103-100 lead with a 3-pointer.
