Manny Ramirez can't find work, but that's not Bud Selig's problem.

According to a Sports Business Journal story, Selig was paid $18.35 million for the MLB fiscal year that ended Oct. 31, 2007. That figure comes from MLB's most recently filed tax documents for the Office of the Commissioner. Selig has since signed a new contract that surely includes yearly raises.

Just to put things in perspective, the story points out that "entering 2009, only seven MLB players will earn more this year than Selig's $18.35 million of two years ago.''
