Helped by the fact that 64 of the best players in the game were entered in the World Golf Championships this week in Arizona, Brett Quigley, Pat Sheehan, and Billy Andrade all made the cut at the Mayakoba Golf Classic at Riviera Maya-Cancun, in Mexico.

Sheehan, who was sixth last year in the Mayakoba -- his best finish of the season -- is tied for 22nd, at 2-under, following a pair of 69s.

Andrade, who had missed the cut in all three events he'd played this year, after missing 14 of 24 last year, is tied for 51st at even-par.

Quigley, who has missed three of four cuts this year, is tied for 68th at 2-over, right on the cut line.

Neither Brad Adamonis nor Brad Faxon chose to play in the tournament.
