Providence College men's hockey senior defenseman Matt Taormina is again one of 16 semifinalists for the 57th Walter Brown Award, presented annually to the best American-born college hockey player in New England. It marks the second-consecutive season that Taormina has been named a semifinalist. The winner will be announced in March. Taormina is from Washington Township, Mich. Previous winners from PC are Mike Omicioli, Rob Gaudreau, Tim Army and Ron Wilson. Last year's winner was UNH's Kevin Regan. |
