Chariho junior Nick Dubee has been selected the Rhode Island Gatorade Boys Soccer Player of the Year.

Dubee, a 5-10 forward, scored 21 goals and had six assists this past fall leading the Chargers to an 11-3-4 record and the quarterfinal round of the Division I playoffs. The performance earned him both National Soccer Coaches Association high school All-American honors and Providence Journal All-State selection.

He is the first Chariho boys soccer player to earn the Player of the Year honor.
