Brown point guard Adrian Williams has been named Ivy League Player of the Week following his 29-point effort in Brown's victory over Quinnipiac, followed by a 13 points in a loss to American. Williams was nine of 11 from the floor, and seven of eight from 3-point range, in the Quinnipiac game. It was the most 3-pointers ever by a Brown player at the Pizzitola Sports Center, and the seventh-most in a single-game in the history of the program. Williams continued his hot shooting by connecting on four of eight field goals, including three of six 3-pointers, against American on the road. Brown tonight faces the Atlantic Coast Conference's Virginia Cavaliers in Charlottesville, Va. 2 CommentsLeave a comment |
