ESPN's Buster Olney and Peter Gammons are reporting that free-agent slugger Mark Teixeira is very close to making a decision about where he will play next season. They say the most likely destinations for Teixeira are the Boston Red Sox and the Washington Nationals, but they hold out the possibility that the Yankees could make a surprise move. We'll have more on this story as it develops -- if it develops.
