my son play for dorchester eagles and i dont think this was a fear decision and am not saying this because my son play for the team the reason for my decision is both team were in a fight and only one team get suspended how is that fear and is edgewood team through the first punch and edgewood even play the friday after the fight with division 2 super bowl they should not even play the friday they fight a fight is a fight, they fight they should get some kind of penity both team and the same penity like the eagles right is right i believe in fear decision try not to be on any one sides but do the right thing.

I THINK BOTH TEAMS SHOULD HAVE BEEN TREATED THE SAME WAY.I WAS IN FLORIDA AND THE EDGEWOOD TEAM WAS LOOKING FOR TROUBLE THE WHOLE TIME WE WERE THERE.ONE OF THE EDGEWOOD COACHES EVEN HIT A KID DURING THE BRAWL.FOR EDGEWOOD TO BE ABLE TO PLAY IN THAT GAME ON FRIDAY WAS CRAZY,AND POP WARNER STRESSED NO FIGHTING AND THAT IF IT HAPPENED NOT ONLY WERE YOU SUPPOSE TO GET KICKED OUT THE HOTEL BUT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO FORFEIT YOUR REMAINING GAMES,I GUESS A CHAMPIONSHIP GAME IS MORE IMPORTANT?

I THINK THE PUNISHMENTS THAT THE DORCHESTER EAGLES RECEIVED WAS TO HARSH, THEY DESERVES A SECOND CHANGE, DONT TAKE AWAY WHAT THESE KIDS LOVE WHICH IS FOOTBALL THE ONE THING THAT KEEP THEM OUT OF TROUBLES AND CRIME AND GANGS AND KEEP THEY BUTT OFF THE STREET IS TAKEN AWAY FROM THEM IS NOT FAIR HOW DO U SUSPEND THE WHOLE ORGANIZATION FROM THE PLAYOFFS WHEN THE REST OF THE KIDS 9-11 YEARS OLD HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT HAPPENED DOWN THERE IN ORLANDO YOU SUPPOSED TO FORFEIT YOUR REMAINING GAME AND THE EDGEWOOD PLAY THE FRIDAY AFTER THE FIGHT, THE PUNISHMENT IS TO HARSH AND NOT FAIR, NO ONE GOING TO WANT TO PLAY POP WARNER ANY MORE AFTER WHAT HAPPENED KIDS IS KIDS SOMETIMES THEY DO FIGHT.BUT JUST BE FAIR WITH THE PUNISHMENTS.

FIrst to the Dorchester parent a fight isnt a fight when one side is being attacked and has to defend themselves for their own safety. and to the other one that said they were there, how exactly was Edgewood looking for trouble? Im from another team and i was there too, they were never alone, they were always with their chaperones and to say a coach hit a kid....dont you think something would of happen if that was the case? the police were there!!!!!!!!

i am on the oakmont chargers and i was the star runningback... we lostt too the eagles of edgewood to ruin or chances at going to florida..... idk about the eagles of dorchester but those edgewood kids were punks alwaysd cheap shottin talkin dirty and tohught they were to good for anything ... edgewood shouldnt have been down there becasue they are not a D2 team anyway they should b D1 so if they started this fight it would surpirse me and i wish the dorchester team beat them all down and showed them how to play classy football

What a disapointing series of events.
Ive taken youth football teams on many out of town Bowl trips and have never had anything like this happen, and these were inner-city kids too.

Why? Because the kids were always chaperoned by reasonable and responsible adults, not children who are 30+ years old. This was not this organizations first run in with trouble in Orlando or even in their own league, it is obviously a pattern of behaviour.

My ORg requires each coach, parent and player to sign a contract that states what is allowed or not allowed. Swift and fair (not fear) punishment for violating any caveat of the aggreement is rendered for all to see. We never have any problems because the kids, parents and coaches understand there is a high standard expected from them.

If Dorchester gets kicked out of Pop Warner, good luck getting any League to take you in. Mew teams are voted in and teams like that simply are laughed out of the voting booths of any legit league. Grow up and do things the right way so the kids have half a chance to be productive adults.

this is for the "star running back" u say that the edgewood eagles walked like they were too good for any one.? well i think thats the ay they are the way there sapose to act because they are the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS and they coulda been the national champions for d2 if they were in that league i think your just madd because u would have wanted to be in florida but u came across a team far better than u and im not sayin this to start nothing because the edgewood eagles beat my team too which is the nuetin knights and they were very respectful helping us up wen we got knocked down.!

Haha to the roxbury raiders you guys start your season the first week in june attending 2x a week ,calling it a camp. WHAT A JOKE THAT IS CHEATING. Funny how it is not posted on your website or anywhere. You should be the best team in Boston after all you have over 20hrs ahead of the other teams. And for the Dorchester team what a shame.
