BOSTON -- S.L. Price has written a very in-depth story on the life, both the good times and the bad, of Boston captain Paul Pierce, and it will appear in the upcoming issue of Sports Illustrated. Among the topics that are included in the article are Pierce's childhood in California, to his high school days at Inglewood High, to his college days at Kansas, to his development as an NBA player, to him nearly being stabbed to death at a nightclub in Boston, to the birth of his daughter, Prianna Lee, to winning the NBA title. The magazine is slated to hit newsstands on Wednesday. |
