Celtics-Magic in-game update: Celtics lead Magic, 48-46, at halftime

BOSTON -- The Celtics have taken a two-point lead into the locker room at halftime.

Boston opened up the game with a 26-13 run by forcing Orlando to miss 14 of its first 19 shots (26.3 percent), while knocking down 11 of its first 16 shots (68.8 percent).

But Orlando coach Stan Van Gundy called a timeout to regroup his team, and that's exactly what Orlando did.

The Magic began make better passes, take better shots, and pick up their intensity on the defensive end of the floor.

As a result, Orlando was able to slash Boston's lead to 48-46 by halftime.

Ray Allen (14 points) and Rajon Rondo (10 points) have been Boston's go-to guys, while Rashard Lewis leads Orlando with 18 points.

Tony Allen went briefly went down with an ankle injury in the second quarter but he returned to the game soon after.
