BOSTON -- With one steal tonight against Orlando, Kevin Garnett will move into a tie for 39th place with Clifford Robinson (1,402 steals) for the most steals in NBA history. With two steals, he will move into a tie for 38th place with Randy Smith, who amassed 1,403 steals during his career. In addition, Garnett is ranked 30th all-time in points (20,651), 24th in rebounds (11,341), and 23rd in blocks (1,679). Garnett and Hakeem Olajuwon are the only two players currently listed in the Top 40 all-time in points, rebounds, steals and blocks. Earlier this season, the Big Ticket became the youngest player in NBA history to achieve 1,000 career games in the NBA (32 years and 165 days old). |
