Captains of various Interscholastic League teams were in East Greenwich this morning, taking part in a leadership event cosponsored by the RIIL and the National Guard. They took part in activities meant to hone their team-building, problem-solving and communication skills. Above, Derek Rocha, 17, captain of the Barrington boys hockey team, pulls a rope on the zip line course. At top, Middletown softball captain Alex Butler, also 17, flies through the air on the ropes.
