BOSTON (October 8, 2008) - While Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Manny Ramirez is driving in runs in the MLB playoffs, one lucky eBay bidder will be driving away in the 12-time All-Star's custom 1967 Lincoln Continental! The auction for Ramirez's car is available by clicking here. Ramirez, prior to being traded from the Boston Red Sox in July, donated his vintage, custom-built 1967 Lincoln Continental to the Franciscan Hospital for Children in Boston. Proceeds from the purchase of this automobile will go to this small, non-profit special needs pediatric hospital. Ramirez personally oversaw the custom rebuild of this "Dodger Blue" 1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible completed by the famous Rad Rides of Chicago. The car is in incredible condition and has a post rebuild mileage of 73. "This car was a generous gift to the hospital and we're hoping to raise a lot of funds to enhance our programs.
