BOSTON (AP) - The owner of the Boston Bruins says the NHL likely will feel the effects of the nation's economic problems.

Jeremy Jacobs said Friday that those troubles could be reflected in the corporate sponsorships clubs are able to attract.

Bruins official Charlie Jacobs, Jeremy Jacobs' son, said most of those deals for the coming season were in place before the financial crisis, but potential deals for the 2009-10 season may be affected.

Jeremy Jacobs said he doesn't expect any of the 30 NHL franchises to fold even though some in the south have had financial problems.
