The University of Rhode Island was shut out at Fordham, 16-0, on Sunday afternoon in a game rescheduled from Saturday because of Tropical Storm Hanna.
The Rams are now 1-1 for the season.

Lose to Fordham? Why does URI have a football team? It's a drain on the University and a drain on the taxpayers. What a waste of taxpayers dollars and a waste of time. And they are lusy and will continue. It's not the coaching. It's that there's no money being put into the program. So why bother?
