NESN, which in the last two years has seen familiar faces Tina Cervasio and Hazel Mae leave, today announced that it has signed Kathryn Tappen to a multiyear contract extension, and that Tappen will take on a larger role with the network. Tappen will continue to serve as the pregame, intermission and postgame host for Boston Bruins telecasts, as an anchor and reporter for NESN SportsDesk, and as a blogger on NESN.com.
