silva0902.jpgThe Indianapolis Colts yesterday cut Jamie Silva of East Providence, and claimed linebacker Buster Davis and defensive tackle Daniel Muir off waivers. Also cut with Silva was second-year linebacker Ramon Guzman.

Silva went undrafted but survived last Saturday's cutdown to 53 players. The 5-foot-10, 204-pound safety was an All-American at Boston College after a three-time All-State career at East Providence High.

Davis was waived by the Detroit Lions. The ex-Florida State linebacker was a third-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2007, but didn't make the team. Muir, signed as an undrafted free agent by Green Bay last season, played in three games for the Packers and made eight tackles, but was released Saturday.

Buster Davis is one the best linbackers if seen and hope to see him start in the 2009 season.
