Brown football, basketball, hockey games to be broadcast on 790 AM

Brown University, Citadel Broadcasting and Nelligan Sports Marketing announced today that 790 WPRV-AM will be the broadcast partner of the Brown Bears football, men's basketball, and men's ice hockey teams beginning this weekend and extending through the 2012-13 season.

790 WPRV-AM will provide live broadcasts of all ten football games, all men's basketball home and away regular and postseason games, and a minimum of five men's ice hockey games each season. Each game broadcast will feature pre- and post-game shows and will be streamed live via the internet.

Scott Cordischi, the long-time radio voice of the Bears, will resume his role as play-by-play announcer during game broadcasts and will host the coaches shows.
